Review and Complete an Audit Report as a Process Owner

Review audit findings and complete audit reports from a process owner perspective to support closure and accountability.

You can access audits pending your review through either the Dashboard task list or through the Pending Audits navigation option on the left.

To access it through the dashboard, find the audit you are going to review and click "Review now"

One inside the pending audits, select the audit you are going to review. Going through the Dashboard Task will take you directly to the specific audit.

Select "Opening meeting" from the accordion to the left, if you are not already there.

Review the opening meeting participants and date.

Select "Standard requirements" from the accordion to the left

Select the requirements one by one to conduct the review of each.

Review the requirement at the top and then each piece of logged objective evidence and the corresponding reasoning.

Select "Organizational requirements" from the accordion to the left

The system assumes compliance if there are no documented findings, so if you do not see anything recorded that is why.

Select "Corrective Actions" from the accordion to the left

Review the details and assessment for each recorded corrective action.

These are Corrective Actions launched or completed since the last audit of this process. This is not to be confused with Corrective Actions assigned after the completion of the audit, if any.

Review the recorded defining materials and controls. Review the recorded KPI(s) and performance result(s).

Review the Process Realization Rating and the Process Results Rating as well as the computed process risk level.

Each of the Process Realization Rating selections has a hidden value: Planned Activities Fully Realized (3) Planned Activities Not Fully Realized (2) Planned Activities Not Realized (1) Each of the Process Results Rating selections has a hidden value: Planned Results are Achieved (3) Planned Results Not Achieves, but Appropriate Action is Being Taken (2) Planned Results Not Achieved and Appropriate Action is Not Taken (1) The value for the Process Realization Rating and the Process Results Rating are added together and that score determines the overall process risk. 2 = High Risk 3-4 = Medium Risk 5-6 = Low Risk

Click "Lead Auditor" within "Sign and close"

Ensure the Lead Auditor signature has been recorded.

Click "Process Owner" within "Sign and close"

Enter the reasons why the audit cannot be approved in the appropriate field.

Click "Reject Audit and Request Revisions"

Once the audit has been rejected it will be returned to the Auditor for revisions. They will be notified of the reason for rejection by email.

Click "Process Owner" within "Sign and close"
